A resident of Mount Pleasant, I have lived in the Charleston area for 30 years. I am an artist currently specializing in pencil drawing. I enjoy pencil because it gives me a high degree of control. Using well-toothed paper suits me best and allows me to create subtle patterns with my pencils. I am now working hard on a project where each piece represents a detailed portion of historical Charleston architecture, squeezing in an occasional portrait. I have also worked with oils/acrylics, watercolors, and have done a few woodcuts, some dry-point etchings; but my favorite medium is pencil.

I offer these prints of original works for your enjoyment. My subjects present themselves wherever I turn throughout the streets of Charleston. The amazing thing is that there is so much intricate beauty in the well-preserved and well-protected homes and buildings in The Holy City.
